1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using ReferLink (“the platform”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. Questions? Contact us at support@referlink.co.

2. What ReferLink is

ReferLink is a referral marketplace. It allows referrers to recommend contractors they personally know and trust to people in their network. Contractors pay a reward when a referred job is completed and approved. ReferLink facilitates this process but is not a party to any agreement between a referrer, a contractor, or a customer.

ReferLink is not a referral mill. Users are expected to only refer contractors they have personally worked with or have a genuine basis to recommend. Submitting referrals for contractors you have no relationship with, or submitting fictitious leads, is grounds for account suspension.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ReferLink. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Referrer responsibilities

• Only submit referrals for contractors you have personally used or can genuinely vouch for.
• Only refer customers who have given you permission to share their contact information.
• Do not submit false, duplicate, or fabricated referrals.
• Do not create multiple accounts to inflate rewards.

Violating these rules may result in forfeiture of earned rewards and account termination.

5. Contractor responsibilities

• Maintain accurate campaign information including service type, description, and reward amount.
• Contact referred customers promptly and in good faith.
• Update referral statuses honestly and in a timely manner.
• Approve or decline payouts based on actual job outcomes — not to avoid paying earned rewards.
• Maintain sufficient credit balance to cover active campaigns.

6. Rewards and payouts

How rewards work — When a contractor marks a referral as completed and approves the payout, the referrer's reward is processed. The reward amount is determined by the campaign active at the time the referral was submitted.

Referrer earnings — Referrers receive 100% of the campaign's reward amount. ReferLink does not take a commission from referral rewards. Contractors are billed for the reward amount plus any applicable payment processing fees at the time of approval.

Payment processing fees — Reward payouts are processed via Stripe. Standard Stripe processing fees (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) apply and are charged to the contractor's card on file in addition to the reward amount.

Payouts — Referrers may request payouts of their earned balance. Payout methods may include gift cards or other options as made available. ReferLink processes payout requests manually and aims to fulfill them within a reasonable timeframe.

No guarantee of reward — A reward is only earned when a referral reaches “completed” status and the contractor approves the payout. Submitting a referral does not guarantee a reward. ReferLink is not responsible for contractors who fail to honor approved campaigns.

Disputes — If you believe a reward was denied in bad faith, contact us via our contact form. We will review disputes on a case-by-case basis but do not guarantee resolution in any particular direction.

7. Subscription and billing

Contractor accounts are billed on a monthly subscription basis. A valid credit card is required at signup. Your first 30 days are free — your card will not be charged until the trial period ends.

The current subscription rate is $49/month for accounts created during the grand opening period. Standard rate for new accounts after the opening period is $59/month. Existing subscribers keep their rate for as long as they remain active.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of the current billing period. Subscription fees are non-refundable except at ReferLink's sole discretion.

ReferLink reserves the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers.

8. Invitations

When you invite someone to ReferLink, you confirm you have a genuine relationship with that person and that sending them an email invitation is appropriate. Do not use the invite feature to send unsolicited bulk email.

9. Public profiles

Contractor profiles — including name, company, bio, service areas, campaigns, and reviews — are publicly visible. By setting up a contractor profile, you consent to this information being displayed publicly. You may update or remove this information at any time through your Settings page.

10. Prohibited conduct

• Submitting false referrals or fabricating customer information
• Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
• Attempting to circumvent the platform to avoid paying referral rewards
• Using the platform to spam, harass, or defraud other users
• Reverse-engineering, scraping, or interfering with the platform
• Violating any applicable law or regulation

11. Account termination

ReferLink may suspend or terminate any account at its discretion, with or without notice, for violation of these terms or for any conduct deemed harmful to the platform or its users. Upon termination, any pending rewards may be forfeited. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@referlink.co.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

ReferLink is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no representations about the quality, reliability, or character of any contractor or referrer on the platform.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReferLink shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to lost rewards, lost revenue, or disputes between referrers, contractors, and customers.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
